Student Conservation Association Announces New Partnership with Deuter USA

Leading international pack maker named premier supplier; helps support youth in conservation efforts

The Student Conservation Association (SCA), a national leader in youth service and stewardship, today announced Deuter USA as the premier supplier of high quality and multi-use backpacks for all its programs. Each year, thousands of SCA members head into the backcountry of national parks and forests to build and maintain more than 2,500 miles of trail. Deuter packs play an important role in keeping SCA's crew members comfortable in even the most rugged conditions.

Our students and leaders need reliable, durable gear in the field and our partnership with Deuter speaks directly to that, says SCA President Dale Penny. As much field time as these backpacks get, Deuter is the ideal partner for making sure we have the best products on our people.

Building on almost four years of partnership, SCA and Deuter continue to find new ways to empower youth to make conservation a part of their everyday lives and to choose products that positively impact the environment.

Working with SCA, providing our packs and helping with their conservation efforts continues to be a very positive relationship, says Christian Mason, Director of Sales for Deuter USA. We know that our products are helping their crews make a huge impact on the wild places and urban green spaces we want to protect today and for future generations.
