Nick Leimbach wins our Facebook Futura Pro 42 Give-Away

Nearly monthly we give away a pack on Facebook. So if you're not a fan yet, I have to ask, what are you waiting for?

This past week, when asked to tell us about the best feature on the Futura Pro 42, Nick Leimbach responded:

Now this is the story all about how my back was huggd by a Deuter pack

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of that ranch Philmont ‘ere.

In East San Diego born and raised
On the trail was where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And making Mountain House for lunch in school
When a couple of clouds, they were up to no good
Started making raindrops in my neighborhood
My pack got just a little wet, and my mom got scared.
She said "You’re getting a Deuter to keep the rain out of there!”

I begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she went to REI and sent me on my way.
She gave me a kissin' and she gave me my pack.
I put my iPod on and said “I might as well use this rucksack.”
Integrated rain cover, yo this isn't bad,
Keep water out of my sleeping bag!
Is this what the people of Deuter livin' like?
Hmm this might be alright!

I whistled for a ranger and when he came near
His nametag said "Andrew" and he had a donkey to steer.
If anything I could say that this Ranger liked to loiter,
But I thought “Nah, forget it, my pack’s a Deuter!”
I pulled up to a cabin at about seven or eight
And I yelled to the Ranger "Yo, homie smell you later"
Looked at my campsite, I was finally there
To sit on my throne with a backpack called Deuter. (My favorite feature is the integrated Rain Cover.)

Thanks for sharing with us Nick. Your pack's on the way.
